Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the BestTellMe app. They sit alongside the store's own terms: on iPhone, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula).
Who provides BestTellMe
Affinity International Liquor Limited, Kenny's House, Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois, R32 XK02, Ireland. Registered in Ireland, Companies Registration Office no. 702039. VAT no. IE03793331GH. Contact: blendwisenpd@gmail.com.
What BestTellMe is for
BestTellMe is a consumer information app. It reads what's listed on a supplement, food, gym or baby product (from its barcode, or from a label photo you check) and compares it with published official limits, rules and advice: EFSA and FSAI upper limits, EU food law and HSE advice. It shows where a product, or everything you take added up, goes over a published limit, isn't allowed in the EU, or has a published warning for the life stage or baby's age you choose, and it names the source each time.
BestTellMe is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, monitor or predict any disease or condition. It doesn't track your cycle or fertility and isn't for contraception. It doesn't check medicines, and it never tells you how much of anything to take. It's for adults choosing products for themselves or their baby, and it doesn't replace your pharmacist, GP, midwife or public health nurse.
Information only, not medical advice
Always check with your pharmacist, GP or midwife before starting, stopping or changing a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medicine, or choosing for a baby. In an emergency call 112 or 999.
Product information
Product details come from Open Food Facts, a free community database, or from your own label photos, which you check yourself before they are scored. Community data can contain mistakes, and products change. Always compare the result with the pack in your hand. If something is wrong, tell us and we'll check it.

Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the limits and rules accurate and up to date, and every result names its source. We are not responsible for decisions you make without checking with a health professional, or for mistakes in product information supplied by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app if a change matters. These terms are governed by Irish law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of its consumer laws.
